What is Rental Housing?

Brenau University owns several small houses and apartment buildings located around the perimeter of campus. These housing options are 
for students who are 22 years or older or 21 years old and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Students living in these facilities are 
considered commuters and are not on the room and board plan Students lease these apartments for the semester or year. Like any apartment, 
the students living in these facilities are responsible for cleanliness of the facility.

Current Rental Properties:

Senior Apartment 
620 Washington St.

Senior Apartment is located on the corner of Washington and Prior Streets. There are four units available. Three of the units are double 
occupancy apartments; including utilities. One unit is a single occupancy apartment including utilities. The apartments include an open
living area with small dining and kitchen areas and private bedrooms. Each apartment is semi-furnished.

600 Washington Avenue Apartments 

600 Washington Apartments has six apartment units and is located next to Senior Apartment across from the Science Building. Three of 
the units are double occupancy apartments. Two units are large double occupancy apartments. One unit is a double occupancy. None 
of the unit’s monthly costs include electricity. The tenants are responsible for setting this up and maintaining monthly payments. All the
apartments are unfurnished.
