Aquatic Administrative Support

A Support Services Representative, under the general direction of the Aquatics Director, is responsible for providing administrative assistance and support associated with multiple areas of Aquatics operations.  This position must perform responsibilities in accordance with the policies, goals, mission, values and objectives established by the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA. KNOW HOW1.       This position requires excellent communication and human interaction skills: oral, written and verbal as well as the ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to effectively communicate and manage information to peers, staff and volunteers.2.       Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, problem solve, and possess effective time management skills.3.       Must pass the State of Georgia criminal background check.4.       Prefer experience in Microsoft Word and Excel. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1.       Provide office and administrative support toward Aquatics operations.2.       Keep records essential for control, evaluation, and reporting.3.       Provide support for processing and conducting comparisons of program data and registration information.4.       Maintain branch and association certification in CPR/AED, blood-borne pathogens, branch orientation, and branch emergency procedures.5.       Maintain privacy requirements by not sharing personal information about members including, but not limited to phone numbers, addresses, programs participation, financial information, or personal situations.6.       Communicate in a positive manner with staff, members, guests, program participants and volunteers.7.       Attend all staff meetings and trainings, as required. Stay educated and updated on current issues regarding all YMCA programs and events.8.       Assists Aquatics Director with duties as needed.9.       Other duties as assigned by Aquatics Director. ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTSBending, stooping, standing, lifting, seeing, verbal communication, hearing, keyboard input, and sitting.
